Background
Stellar Industries is manufacturer of hydraulic truck mounted equipment.
The Problem
They were looking to increase efficiency by adding on to a Free Standing Work Station Crane that they already had. They also were looking for new equipment to help alleviate back injuries to workers lifting 50 - 70 lb. flat steel from a blast table.
The Solution
Stellar decided to update the current Work Station Crane by adding stools on top of the already existing columns to raise the height by 2 ft. They also extended the system 25 ft. and replaced the hoists they had with Gorbel GS Series Hoists. To help reduce back injuries at the blast table, they added an Easy Arm Intelligent Lifting Device to reach inside and pick up the flat steel plates.
